What happens when a tailor and fashion stylist fall in love?  A beautiful story is sewn together, with chapters told in fashion forward tailoring and effortless style.  Indeed, we really were founded by a tailor husband and fashion stylist wife, and this is our true fashion love story!

Our look is polished and ladylike.  We believe that sophistication is sexy, and our feminine pieces effortlessly exude allure.  Our figure-flattering clothes make a girl look - and feel - like the confident, powerful style maven she truly is!  We love timeless and nostalgic pieces that have been given a modern twist and edgy styling.  

 

We believe it should not cost a fortune to look like a million bucks, and we work tirelessly to make our entire boutique easy on your pocketbook.  How?  By leveraging our extensive industry experience and contacts, we are able to buy directly from designers and manufacturers.  We source from the same suppliers that are carried by high-end boutiques, but we cut out the middlemen, distributors, and showrooms, and instead pass along the savings to our dearest customers.  We are strategically located in Los Angeles, the heart of apparel manufacturing and distribution in America.

We think every sidewalk can be a runway, and that inside every woman is her inner model, just waiting to be revealed through a little help from a tailor and stylist!  

About Grace, Co-founder and Stylist:  With work seen in magazines, photography books, national ad campaigns, and catalogs, Grace has worked as a fashion stylist for nearly a decade - long before the masses even knew stylists existed.   She possesses a seasoned stylist's understanding of what flatters a woman's body and hopes to make every Tailor & Stylist patron feel and look stunning.

As a child, Grace was influenced by her high-fashion mother and grandmother, descendants of textile tycoons in Shanghai.  Her grandmother insisted on wearing haute couture dress suits and fur shawls even to the grocery store, while her mother was the epitome of impeccable, mixing in fabulous vintage finds with her preppy style.  Not surprisingly, Grace's style was evident as early as the 2nd grade, when she donned dreamy vintage 1960s maxi dresses to school, while other girls wore New Kids On The Block sweatshirts with neon spandex shorts.

About Jon, Co-founder and Tailor:  As one of the youngest tailors to work on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Jon quickly became renowned for his impeccable design skills that made for some of the most flattering custom clothing in America.  He has created bespoke wardrobes for celebrities, royalty, and business moguls.  Jon brings his trained eye for tailoring and well-cut design to Tailor & Stylist.

Jon's fashion icon is his grandfather, who dressed impeccably with shined shoes, suspenders, a natty sport coat and a tweed hat, worn well into his 90s - as true style transcends time.
